Munich/Nuremberg, Germany, August 11, 2022: SPREE Interactive, a specialist in multiplayer free-roam VR attractions for the location-based entertainment market, in partnership with world-leading manufacturers, Eurogames, launch the first of many Battery Powered VR Bumper Car attractions, licensed by VR Coaster, at La Grande Mela shopping center in Verona, Italy.
The latest highly immersive VR Bumper Car attraction offers To Get srl, Italian specialist marketing agency with clients such as McArthurGlen Designer Outlets and Per La Grande, a redeem in footfall against the competitive online shopping market.
“We are always looking for new creative solutions to draw in customers at our client locations”, says Filippo Tracquilio, Owner of To Get srl. “We chose SPREE & Eurogames as they provide an immersive VR entertainment solution that creates a unique interactive experience between players.”
Launched on the 1st of July this year, To Get srl has transformed shopping at La Grande Mela into an entertaining experience, offering a free attraction that transports the shopping center customers and their Space Bumper Cars into the virtual world, whilst in the mix of their shopping.
“The demand for virtual spaces is continuing to grow rapidly as consumers globally are seeking new entertaining VR experiences,” says Paul Collimore, Commercial Director at SPREE Interactive. “Battery Powered VR Bumper Cars transports physical bumper cars into the virtual world, creating opportunities for venues to transform their spaces into a 360-degree immersive experience.”
The VR Space Bumper Car attraction comes with 4 circular battery powered cars that only require a floor space of 8m x 9m or 26ft x 30ft. The compact footprint makes the attraction suitable for all locations, no matter how limited the space. With a maximum throughput of 48 players per hour, the game CyberBlaster, developed by SPREE & leading VFX house Pixomondo, offers a fast-paced and thrilling 360° driving experience.
